Great skiing at Panticosa

Skied at Panticosa today – snow was superb. Best I’ve seen this season with loads of light powder off piste.

Usually I ski at Formigal which is bigger but today Panticosa was bathed in sun and looked really inviting so turned off and headed there.

It’s a really pretty resort tucked under the cliffs of Tendeñera and with great views to the north

This is the view looking north to Pic du Midi d’Ossau just over the border in France.

Sun was out and the views were wonderful. This is Ibon de Sabacos and Montaña del verde – popular hikes in the summer.
Really good day out.
